First NVIDIA ION Review

Head on over to PC Perspective for the first official review of the NVIDIA ION platform.  They got their hands on a reference sample (a pre-production model, without the power saving features) and pitted it against an Intel-based netbook system.  It demolished it graphically, haha!

Silicon Mountain has released two new LCD HDTVs, in 32″ and 42″ sizes, with a built-in Atom-based computer containing a 250gb hard drive, 2 gigs of RAM, and a DVD drive.  Are you thinking what I’m thinking?

Samsung releases 4 Gigabit memory chip

OCZ introduces Apex 230 MB/s SSDs

OCZ has announced the Apex series of 2.5″ SATA II Solid-State Drives, which come in 60gb, 120gb, and 250gb flavors ($199, $370, and $830, respectively).  They’re rated at 230 MB/s read and 160 MB/s write, which is just insane!  Can you imagine a RAID array of these monsters?  Sheesh!

MSI Wind NetTop D130 announced
