Guide Project - Status Update
Well it’s been a busy holiday break! The Gigabyte DS3L and UD3P driver packages for 10.5.6 are nailed down, and I also have a working plugin for the MSI Wind & MSI Wind PC, as well as one for the Intel Atom motherboards. Now it’s all about updating and finalizing the documentation for these projects. [...]

A few notes:
I sold my wind; the keys were too small for my fingers. This will probably be the only package I release for the Wind.
This package doesn’t include the leaked Realtek drivers (I was using a 3rd-party Wifi card and didn’t need [...]
10.5.6 Status Update
Finally figured out my issue with the 10.5.6 update - my video card was causing the kernel panic at boot (modded Quadro FX 5600). My guess is that Apple put something in 10.5.6 that detects and disables video cards with modded ROMs. I’m sure we’ll find out more information as more people with modded cards [...]
PC EFI v9 + Chameleon = Happiness
Netkas (PC EFI) teamed up with Zef (Chameleon) and released PC EFI v9 Chameleon v1.0.12, a unified bootloader installer that supports DSDT. Think of it as XM & Sirius merging (i.e. awesome!). I’ve removed the original Kalyway customizations (wallpaper & MP3), added a new icon and slashscreen graphic, and edited the intro text [...]

BOOT-132 Core Package Contents Review
The core of my download package contains the tools and software required to run BOOT-132 on a DS3L-based Hackintosh. It’s split into 4 sections:

This contains an older version of Taruga’s AppleHDA patcher, v1.20, along with a copy of an audio codec dump from Linux. This is the same audio patch we use in my previous [...]
Birth of the BOOT-132 for DS3L Project
A month or so ago, I started working with BOOT-132 to improve my Leopard installation on the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L Rev 2.0 motherboard I have. Kalyway is great, but requires constant patches and upkeep. BOOT-132 promised an easier method with improved results. So far, it’s been great! The installation workflow has been narrowed down to 3 [...]
