You run UOI and select your plugin, the DSDT from it, and KEXTs, and also install Chameleon. Your patched DSDT will be copied to the root of the hard drive. If you want to know if your DSDT works, install the 10.5.6 update that came out today. I did it on my machine and the update did not mess up my Hackintosh.
